Marine electrician supervisor
West Atlantic Shipyard - Nigeria
Missions and activities
Your primary function will be to supervise and lead the installation of complete electrical systems in new High Speed Aluminium vessels.
Your daily activities would include but not be limited to supervise the orientation and instillation of cable trays, running of cables, installation of marine orientated electrical and electronical equipment, connection and termination of all systems on board.
You should also have a strong ability in troubleshooting and repairing electrical problems in existing marine electrical systems.
A sound understanding of marine mechanical systems would be highly advantageous
You will liaise with and report to the Production Manager and in conjunction with other departments, ensure the safe and timely completion of New Aluminium Vessels.
Profile required of the candidate
15 years experience with 5 years of proven supervisory experience
Added qualifications :
Trade qualified
Related skills (computer skill, language, etc...)
Language: English and/or French
Personnel quality needed :
Ability to adapt quickly into a fast paced, multicultural environment with good communication and inter personnel skills.
